MUKA-TA (soon 11/2020)
FIRST ALBUM SOLO OF REBECKA ALDANA
MUKA-TA is the first solo album by Rebecka Aldana, Nicaraguan singer.
MUKA-TA means "near" in the indigenous language of Matagalpa, the city where Rebecka Aldana was born. The inspirations of Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones, Billie Holidays and Ray Charles mixed in MUKA-TA offers you a musical journey sounding the vibes of funk, jazz & blues "in memory of" Paul Breslin.
The album, recorded live "unplugged" in Nicaragua, is a tribute to Paul Breslin who wrote the music and lyrics for several "unedited songs" in collaboration with the band's saxophomist Geoffroy Vilbert. Writer and composer for Ray Charles and several other jazz & pop stars, since 2018 Paul now sings with the angels.
